Winchell Way Apartments

Lived here for almost five years. Hard to beat the location and proximity to Asylum Lake. We're on our third property and third maintenance manager since moving in. This duo is the best so far. We've had challenges but they always make a real effort to address them. Can't ask for too much better than that. I'd recommend living here, especially if you can luck out and get a lake facing unit.

Everybody is kind and considerate, I also appreciate the location so much. The leasing office staff are very friendly and always kind. One of the things I value most about living here is that the property is maintained consistently and routinely. The dog park is wonderful also, my dog gets exercise and gets to play with other dogs. 5 stars for sure.

I lived at Winchell Way Apartments for 3 years and really enjoyed my time there. The apartments are well laid out and have a very spacious balcony, with the view of the lakes also being quite beautiful from it. The complex is located close to downtown Kalamazoo, but also have easy access to Portage. An entrance to the Asylum Lake Land Preserve is very close by and I hiked there often while living there. The office staff have consistently been very friendly and professional. They even helped me out with advice when I rescued a cat.

They were wonderful the entire time I lived there. Snow/ice removal, ample warning for any maintenance or changes they needed to make, compassionate management, and they even let us paint our walls! I didn't have any issues when living here that they didn't work with me to find a solution to. I recommend this place to my friends, and if I am looking for an apartment in the area in the future I don't doubt that I would look here first.

My kitchen sink was leaking a little bit, but Fernando came in and replaced the faucet it works great looks much better than it did and doesn’t leak! Sadly, he wasn’t able to fix the three-way switch since the problem is something with the internal wiring, but I am able to use 1 switch correctly so really not a big deal.
