Lakeside Estates at Paloma Creek by Tri Pointe Homes

Never wanted or interested in giving feedback as i want to enjoy my new house, but after 6 months of followup also Dunhill Homes are not addressing my issues observed and reported after closure. Booked my house in Dec 2016 and Dunhill Homes were able to complete the house by April 2018. Rushed them to complete in 2018 and house had so many problems which were reported by Bank during their verification, they were addressed. I agree that none can build a house without any issues. Finally closed my house in April 2018. Reported many problems after closing within first 30 days and they agreed to address these issues if reported within 30 days before my closing. Even today they are not getting addressed after 6 months. Not enjoying the house and feeling like i am not in a new house. Don't reco

Very slow builder. After speaking with multiple homeowners and realtors it’s evident that it takes them 18 months to build a home. This was an issue with this builder pre-COVID. In 14 months it has sat without any work being done to it at least 10 of those months. Major regret selecting this builder. The sales lady lied, the pictures are the same for months, constant excuses and mistakes and unacceptable build time. So very disheartening.

When dealing with Paloma Creek location we had a good experience as this is where we had to go to see the exact model of what we wanted at the new subdivision in Denton/Corinth. Meanwhile back in Corinth we found out that sales people would say stuff like no one would be building behind where we were looking at a lot. Over a year later right behind the house lot I was going to pick is a brand new subdivision and no green space. I ended up buying an older home in Denton without all the sales pressure and deception from all the builders not just Dunhill. Would I buy a Dunhill home? Only if I could have it built on my own property.

I have signed the new home in Feb 2021, the expected closing date is January 2022 but still the construction going on, The construction manager and the sales representative doesn’t respond to emails or phone cals , They post the same photos every week and they did this for 2-3 months. What to do with these guys ??

I live out here. It's the place to be if you like Water and nature. Far enough out that yur in-Laws will barely show up. Lol.. Close to Frisco and Prosper. That's all I need. Now I need a Boat..
