Lake Point Senior Apartments

My aunt lives here. Her apartment is small but adequate for just her. The common areas of the building are kept clean and tidy. While I visited the cleaning/repair staff was friendly. As were the neighbors on her floor. There was one gentleman who seems to roam the hallways at all times of day and night. He looks a bit off. I was concerned about my safety in regards to him, during my stay.

I lived here for 2 years and in that time the monthly rent has escalated by $50 a month! The building is in serious need of repairs, (mold on verandah ceiling, etc.), current manager ignores residents (hides behind closed office doors). Apartments are extremely small with very little storage area. I have moved to a much better place and would not recommend this building or the management to anyone. Many of my friends there are also moving out & those that can't are very unhappy and have expressed zero confidence in the management. Beware!

I've just signed my third year lease I'm very happy in my apartment I call heaven my neighbors are friendly and caring my electric is a bit high in the warmer months seems to be the only thing I get stressed about living in a fixed income

I lived in Lakepoint on and off for 5 yrs. I’m moving back to the community as soon as there is a unit available.I lived in various places but nothing’s compares to Lakepoint. The residents are wonderful,the staff very friendly I feel secure which is the best thing for me,the cleanliness you can’t compare and most of all they accept my doggies. Great place to live.

I feel senior citizens should BEWARE of the new management at “Lake Point Senior Apartments” at 1821 Dora Avenue in Tavares FL. I tried to get a apartment at Lake Point toward the end of summer 2022. I started the process with the old management company(Picerne Management Corporation). I filed my application and paid the application fee($35.00) and paid the 1st part of my deposit($100.00) with the old management company(Picerne) and that process was going ok. Then I was informed by the old management company(Picerne) that I was approved, but a new management company(Hallmark Companies Incorporated) would be taking over the management of the Lake Point Senior Apartments and that my application and the 1st part of my deposit($100.00) would be transferred to Hallmark and that Hallmark sho
