Dominion Title

My clients have closed with Dominion Title several times over the past few years. Our experiences have always been great! When we’ve experienced issues with title work, they’ve gone above and beyond to do the research and get things resolved. Title work can be an emotional process when things don’t go as sellers (and buyers) anticipate. When this has happened, my clients have been able to connect with staff from Dominion to help them through the process.

When doing business with Century 21 you may be offered Dominion Title as your title company. I would highly recommend requesting another title company. In my case using Dominion has become a nightmare. First Dominion asked for the loan payoff from my bank with a date more than two weeks after the closing date which I had pointed out to my realtor. In addition they failed to ask for wiring instructions and did not disclose to me at closing that they didn't have wiring instructions. The final payoff therefore was in excess of the proper amount. The payoff was then overnighted which caused a three day delay in the bank receiving the payment. Every day the payoff is delayed has cost me over $53. When it comes to title companies in the Indianapolis and Bloomington areas there is simply no one better than Dominion. Their staff is uber attentive and are always on top of the entire process from start to finish. Their customer service is unmatched and they are willing to do whatever it takes to get a transaction closed including staying past normal business hours. I will always use Dominion for my clients' transactions!!

Dominion Title is simply the best! We had a small issue at closing, and the gals at Dominion were so quick to jump in and help resolve asap so that we could keep the closing moving smoothly! Will always, always highly recommend them!

Very poor experience. Dominion has no rules in place to protect the seller. I was told we would close remotely and be finished with the closing on an agreed date and the buyer didn’t return her paperwork in time for Dominion to wire the money to me. Apparently there are no penalties or any kind of accountability to prevent this from happening. I did not receive my closure (paperwork or funds) for several days. No one from Dominion bothered to reach out to me to tell me that there was a delay and that the closing would not be complete. At the end of the business day I emailed Megan - who was supposed to be helping us - and she offered no apology nor offer to make things right.
