The Steadman Apartments of Carmel are an amazing place to live! The community is well-maintained, clean, and peaceful, with beautiful surroundings that make it feel like home. The apartments are spacious, modern, and thoughtfully designed, and the amenities are top-notch. The management and staff truly stand out—they’re friendly, responsive, and genuinely care about residents. Any maintenance requests are handled quickly and professionally. The location is also perfect, with easy access to shopping, dining, and everything Carmel has to offer. I couldn’t be happier living here and would highly recommend The Steadman Apartments to anyone looking for a comfortable, high-quality living experience!

I never leave reviews. Ever. But for those considering these apartments let me first say this. Yes, they are beautiful and yes, it’s a great location. But as previous reviews have already mentioned, once you are a tenant here, the staff will treat you quite poorly. Truly the most disingenuous staff I’ve ever interacted with. My friends/family have also made remarks. You won’t see it initially, but trust me, once you sign those papers, there is an abrupt switch. Especially the receptionist. In regards to the physical property, although the aesthetics are beautiful, there were definitely corners cut when building these “luxury” apartments. Do not be surprised if your apartment floods. Both of my neighbors as well as two other tenants in the building next to mine had theirs apartments flood.

I rarely leave bad reviews. Really. I always try to be considerate and sympathetic toward other people’s difficulties. And honestly, because I really wanted to like this apartment. But this situation has gone on far too long. I moved in September 2025 and reported a cracked bedroom window within 24 hours of move-in. It is now February 2026 and it still hasn’t been repaired. I’ve followed up multiple times. Most recently, I was told the work order would be closed because my unit is “on a list” for replacement once the weather improves. After reading other Google reviews, I realized other residents have experienced similar delays, which makes this feel less like a one-time issue and more like a pattern. IMHO, stay away! We thought the place looked nice, initially, but only lived there two months due to all of the problems. Dirty halls! We were told they would vacuum every week, but I took pictures every week to document that it was not being vacuumed. The dog poop collection stations were not being emptied in a timely fashion and were packed. Dog poop collection bag dispensers were empty. Young adults coming in at two in the morning, making a lot of noise and obviously intoxicated. Found beer cans strewn about the next morning. Lots of landscaping needed to be replaced.
