We completed a refinance with Chicago Title Company Carmel and they did not communicate at all throughout the transaction or let us know if our transaction recorded escrow. Although we requested to be informed, they ignored our request. Also, we requested an email copy of our Final Closing Statement twice they didn’t email it until a third time and when they emailed it they didn’t have respect to addressing my husband they just sent the email. They treated us rudely and were disrespectful. We paid for our escrow and used them because our lender requested we open escrow with them. We will never use them again!

Terrible customer service. Did not take the time to explain things to customers. We closed the home in January and the original paperwork was never mailed to us but was electronically sent. I walked in today to ask for the original closing paperwork. The front desk later was annoyed and quickly upset when I asked for the original copies because they were "unavailable". Such explanations could be expressed nicely and courteously or in a confrontational way. The lady inside the office was practically yelling out (from inside the office into the lobby after I sat quietly for 15 mins while my husband, and 2 kids waited in the car) saying she can't help me. I’ve had multiple closings at Chicago Title as both a buyer, seller and Realtor and have always had a good experience. Definitely recommend!

Very easy and flexible to work with. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Large company, so you know they can back a title without going under water. I was recommended this place by my realtor, and will likely use this company if I ever (never?) move houses again.
