Plantation Dunes was a very clean nice place to stay. Away from the hustle bustle of the town but close enough to get nice dinners. The beach was beautiful and while we were there it was quiet. Beautiful views. We plan on going back and it’s a nice break from northern winters. We were able to cook in the apartment or go out, plenty of things to do and other beaches to see that are relatively close.

We just completed our third year in a row staying at this beach house for our family’s Mardi Gras getaway, and once again it did not disappoint. We had 18 family members staying together, and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out, relax, and still gather comfortably for meals and time together. The house is perfect for making memories with a large group, and it truly feels like a home away from home for us now. Dauphin Island never fails to amaze us with its breathtaking sunrises and sunsets—some of the most beautiful we’ve ever seen. Sitting outside watching the sky change colors has become one of our favorite traditions. We’ve made so many special memories here over the years, and that’s why we keep coming back. Silver Sands in Laguna Key, Gulf Shores, AL Our family had a wonderful time staying in this beach house. We had lots of room and the porch and swing were our favorites. There were lots of stairs to navigate outside and inside. The elevator was very helpful getting luggage in and out but took a while to figure out how to work it. The beach was beautiful and very private this time of year. It’s an older but beautiful home that could use a little sprucing up but very comfortable. The boardwalk to the beach was awesome and made it easy to go back and forth with young children. Water was beautiful most of the week. The few things that needed repairs were taken care of immediately. Overall, it was a great place for a large family to stay. We made some sweet memories!

Beautiful recently remodeled home right on the ocean. Great views and easy access to the white sand beaches. Highly recommend for couples and families. Anita

The house was wonderful! 6 adults for a “friends reunion”, there was ample space, house was very clean, kitchen had everything needed and more. We made a friendsgiving dinner! The views from the 2 decks were spectacular. The beach was right at the end of the driveway. We could not have asked for more.
