West Village Poway Apartments

Sadly, I am leaving a review about how terrible the on-site management team is here (except for Nelson who has been great since day one). We've been dealing with ongoing noise issues from our upstairs neighbors for months, with multiple reports made to management, community patrol, and unfortunately the sheriffs department. Unfortunately, the on-site management team, including Shelly (the manager) have been dismissive in their communication regarding this situation. Emails have gone unanswered and despite repeated documentation and follow-ups per management request, the situation remains unresolved. Residents deserve to feel heard and respected (especially when paying 3,000+ a month to live here) and that has not been the experience. Residents have the legal right to "quiet enjoyment" and

Me and my wife spent the entirety of this weekend going to over 7+ apartments complexes and out of the 7+ we went to, the West Village Poway Apartments stood out the most. Now only were the apartments clean but the leasing agent or professional, Nelson was very friendly and allowed us to roam the units with adequate time. He always had an answer for every question we through at him and he actually listened to what my wife was looking for in a apartment unit and recommended us a different unit with those needs. Me and my wife will be putting in a application and I hope Nelson gets the credit he deserves.

After many hours fighting for what is right against this company, I’m here to spread the word and protect others from this place. Please don’t be fooled by good reviews left by people who have only toured this property. Take this advice from someone who lived here for 11 months. To start, regarding the good reviews, West Village bates people into leaving a positive review upon touring and move in, making it seem like they will receive a discount on rent for doing so. In reality, once you leave a positive review you’re given a list of other tasks to do in order to potentially receive small discounts ($20 or so) off rent. Talking about smooth!! I never had such a positive experience with moving into a new place, until I came West Village Poway. And that's saying alot because my wife and I came across the country to be here. Now I won't lie we had some fears because we won't able to tour the property like most, but with team members like Aure backing this place, our worries were quickly dashed. We absolutely love it here, our new home is beyond beautiful with a gorgeous view, the gym is my second home, and the pool is 🔥💯🙏💯. So if you're looking for for a great place to call home come to West Village Poway Apartments, you won't be disappointed

Unfortunately, moving into West Village Poway has been nothing short of regretful and miserable. We have been in communication with the management team for over 3 months complaining about noise from a surrounding unit and they have done nothing but warn the unit above. Even emails to corporate and calls to the sheriff’s department have done nothing to encourage the manager, Shelly Mitchell, to take action. She asked that we send emails with any issues but has become slower to reply and overall dismissive of our concerns. Her replies are always the same: “we appreciate your email and patience, we are taking this seriously and are working with the neighbors to control the noise, etc.” She says we will receive updates however we have received none. We are unable to enjoy our unit that we pay
