REVIEW FOR 339 MONROE IN DOWNTOWN LAFAYETTE:- When I first moved in, I had water bugs and crickets falling out of my vents, which the property manager told me was just all of Louisiana. Later I found out through the maintenance team that there had been a hole in the ventilation system somewhere that had caused them to get in. The whole complex smells very strongly of weed, so if you have little children, think twice. The fire alarms also kept going off in the middle of the night often and the elevator breaks down a couple of times every month.The property manager frequently claims to be “busy” or “in training” whenever you reach out, as if tenants have nothing better to do than chase her for responses. Vintage Realty - ATTN: Archer Frierson - This property is an eyesore to our community. It is not being monitored or maintained, therefore it may never sell to a viable owner. Please address this problem as soon as possible because it negatively impacts our property value and community.

Vintage Realty Company is the current owners of "The Standard Downtown Lofts" in Shreveport, LA. When they took over, everything stayed rather consistent except for them cancelling the valet trash service that was initially offered. However, I am posting this review so that I can follow up on a tenant safety concern I have brought to their attention multiple times now. I will adjust my review based on how Vintage Realty Company chooses to remedy the tenant safety concern. So far, they have ignored my requests to have them look into this. Not a good look for a company that manages some of the priciest apartments in town.

Vintage Realty is a classic example of a company that puts profits over people. Main Street Apartments in Lafayette (both condos and rental units) is part of Vintage Realty’s portfolio. The elevator in one of the buildings has been broken for a month. Laura Brabham, regional property manager, has shown a complete disregard for tenants and property owners. She refused to respond to messages until I copied Vintage executives into the emails. My 83-year-old neighbor has barely been able to leave his apartment for the past month because he is unable to climb up and down the stairs. I spoke with a 79-year-old neighbor today who told me she struggles to get up and down them as well.
