RUNNNN!! This complex truly deserves zero stars. This is the worst of the worst in Ridgeland, MS. I wouldn’t recommend this place to a dog. I’ve lived here a little over 13 months and I’ve had problem after problem after problem. My air has not functioned properly since moving here. Over the summer, my home would be over 80 plus degrees every day. My floors inside my apartment would literally be sweating. I’ve also had pest infestations. Management and maintenance were aware of all of the inhabitable conditions I was living in and continued to lie like they were resolving the issues. You can never get anyone on the phone EVER. The maintenance, management, and corporate sucks. They never acknowledge any wrong doing on their behalf, only deflect and place blame on the tenants for their fail

The absolute worst on planet earth!!!!! Dumpster is maggot infested with a rotting, broken house full of furniture sitting outside of it for the last month. Numerous calls and visits to management office have yielded nothing but excuses about why things are not done. Neighbors use their front walk as a hoarders den in spite of receiving violations from the office. Now the fool is putting his trash out there as well. Buildings exterior are filthy mcnasty! Don't look like they have ever been power washed. Windows to the exterior of the buildings are so filthy you can't see out of them! Landscaping in front of my door is growing so wild, I'm scared it's going to come in the house! I have no idea what kind of creatures are lurking in this knee deep mess! Been trying to get information about getting an apartment here and nobody is ever in the office. I’ve even sat and waited for 2 hours. They don’t return your calls or anything.

I currently live here now and been having nothing but problems since I moved in June of 2024. I wouldn’t recommend these apartments to a dog, they never fix anything but won’t rent in full on time. Constant water issues, air going out, gnats and big water bugs all the time, appliances breaking and going out, emergency maintenance line never works, noise in upstairs apartment so loud but they won’t do nothing, and to the people who say simply move it’s hard to move in Ridgeland, houses are never available and it takes forever for apartments to get back with you, Van mark simply is about money but not the residents

I strongly advise anyone considering moving to Van Mark Apartments to look elsewhere. Over the course of four years, this complex has been mismanaged by three different management companies, each seemingly worse than the last. The experience has been an absolute nightmare; I was traumatized by what I experienced living there. To begin with, the living conditions are unacceptable. I was almost bitten by a poisonous snake in my hallway, a clear sign of the dangerous and neglected environment (bldg 31 due to foundation repairs that ruin the building). Inside, I dealt with raccoons and squirrels running around in the walls, creating constant noise and further health hazards ( also bldg 31) On top of that, there were ongoing issues with mold and gnat infestations (bldg 45) making it feel like
