The Heights Apartments

I had an exceptional experience living at The Heights for a little over a year. My renovated apartment exceeded my expectations during my entire rental period. The landlords were incredibly accommodating, responsive, and genuinely great to work with. I highly recommend The Heights for anyone seeking a comfortable and well-managed living space. I’m including a picture of how cute my apartment was…the 12ft ceilings, did it for me. Five stars without a doubt!

I want to give them negative stars because of the awful experience. I don’t know if it’s to do with Eli, Khadijah, the higher ups at M3, or a combination of them (most likely), but living at The Heights apartments has been a hellscape. The office hours are: Monday: 9:30am-11:30am (by appt only) Tuesday: (by appt only) Wednesday: 9:30am-11:30am Thursday: (by appt only) Friday: 9:30am-11:30am. Most people work between 9 am and 5 pm during the weekday, which makes this schedule ridiculous to accommodate most tenants here. We can barely schedule an appointment because no one answers the phone. This is a place where we pay to LIVE. Not by our own choice, but because this is what we can afford right now. Wow! In seeing the reviews I’m surprised. I’ve just moved here and I, as picky as I am. I’ve found this place working towards rebuilding nice units. The staff is very friendly and respectful as well as welcoming. I’m sure this happened, but from what I’ve experienced. When people don’t pay their rent the property falls down. Really, things can get better with time. And that’s if we could just work together.

Giving them this 1 star isn't my choice. First off management is the worst old or new. M3 Management is full of it. They start projects and don't finish, new office hours are from 9am-11am or appointment only, and the tenants that work aren't available to come in during those times. Nobody ever answers the office phone. PM Eli has no experience in managing whatsoever, he doesn't know the answers to half of the questions you ask, and majority of the time his answer is "IT'S A PROCESS". Pest and Rodents in all units, buildings always dirty, bulk trash all over the place, stairs in the Duplex units aren't fully secured (lawsuit), smoke detectors don't work, patio doors don't open, and closet doors off tract. This place is a joke, they steal your money, and have the nerve to charge you $1100-1

This review is being written in support of, and to compliment the hosting of the back to school event for the kids in this community on September 16, 2024. This was a very considerate, well-planned, and a very much needed event, kudos to the property manager Assata for organizing an event which was so beneficial and inspiring for the kids. Myself and this community, kindly and sincerely thanks you.
