KNOW YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS AS A RENTER. They are SLUMLORDS. We moved in when I was 3-4 months pregnant. I made it ABUNDANTLY clear that I was pregnant to Caitlin, the property manager. The assistant showed me the duplex style apartments when I came to tour so I was under the impression that’s where I’d be renting from. I didn’t get to see our apartment until AFTER we signed the lease LATE on a Friday. So to my surprise, we were taken to the two story apartments, and shown two. The bottom one had broken tile to where the top floor had new flooring.. polishing a turd is generous. They gave us keys and left. That night I noticed a small roach on the wall. Then another. My best friend has lived here for over 2 years and has never had any issues. Caitlin and Kloe are the sweetest most caring property manager and assistant property manager i have ever met. They always go above and beyond for your needs and make sure everything is always taken care of in a timely manner. Whenever I come to vist I have never seen any bugs or roaches. they always make sure to keep each apt and the whole property clean for us. Thank you Kloe and Caitlin for being the best ♥️

**Very Disappointed – Be Careful Before Applying** I had a very frustrating experience with the leasing process. After submitting my application and paying the fees, I was told I would hear back within 24 hours. It’s now been almost a week with no response. I’ve had to constantly call for updates, and no one answers. The lack of communication and professionalism is unacceptable. They show you a nicely remodeled unit to attract you, but that doesn’t mean you’ll get that same type of unit. I never got to see the actual unit I selected. You’re expected to move forward without knowing what you’re truly getting until after approval. The Tanglewood Leasing Office sent me to Mount Dora saying there were several units available. However, when I arrived, they would not let me view the unit I was

I have been living at Tanglewood for about 8 and a half months now and my experience at Tanglewood has been great! Chloe and Caitlin we're super helpful with my move-in and are always polite to speak to. The maintenance guys are super helpful and the maintenance supervisor, Jaime, is so nice and is always willing to answer any of my questions. I am definitely going to renew my lease when it comes time!

They are asking for $1400 or more for their apartments that have Mold, cockroaches, no smoke alarms, cabinets that are falling apart due to being painted over so many times the doors I to paint heavy for the rusted hinges to hold up anymore. Caitlin won’t answer you or will try to intimidate/talk down to you if you do complain. Absolutely disgusting how they treat people here. Slumlords.
