Scott Crossing

I enjoy living at Scott Crossing, it’s by far the best place I’ve lived thus far. Despite the negatives that are on here, this community is phenomenal. The location is perfect, minutes from downtown Decatur (some amazing food is located there), you’re even minutes from Midtown Atlanta. I enjoy all the amenities that are here, they’re all top notch. I highly recommend Scott Crossing, to make your new home.

I want to convince myself that this place is worth the trouble since the location is amazing and basically everything is within reach, but I’m at my wits ends right now. Don’t move here. The first month I moved in the AC wasn’t working and they did put in a compact AC machine but it was very loud. That got fixed after a few weeks but now there’s MASSIVE water damage that’s spreading through my apartment. I’ve sent in around 5 service requests about this issue now. The maintenance team is amazing (special shout out to Alvin and Rudy) but I had my furniture damaged from the water spreading. I literally can’t use my bedroom (in a studio apartment) since the water keeps returning and I don’t want my mattress destroyed. I really love my apartment at Scott Crossings and Stefon is the best leasing agent I’ve ever had at the States. He’s super friendly and always there to help. I came in to his office with an urgent need to have a place to settle for. He immediately scheduled with me for an apartment tour in that afternoon and I would rate it the best renting option near Emory University. Basically, it only took four to five days for me from knowing about the place to moving in, which is amazing. The neighborhood also made me feel safe and comfortable. A five star rating!

My husband and I had the *best* experience and customer service touring this apartment community with Jessica this past weekend. Jessica was so personable, thorough, down to earth and about her business. The entire apartment property is beautiful with some amazing amenities. After seeing these apartments it’s going to be hard for other apartments to top the high level of customer service, location of the apartments, and the amenities that are offered. We are so happy with our experience here and would love for this to be our new home🤍

There is often dog poop left in hallways and in stairwells. The gate is constantly broken. The elevator breaks frequently. There were times that the locks stopped working so entrance to the building was impossible. There is trash left in the hallways and stairwells. There are collections of joint butts which makes the stairwells smell like weed and sets off the fire alarm. I read most of the positive reviews, and they seem to be written by residents who only lived here for a short time. I too was happy for the first several months. However, it is not as glamorous or comfortable as it seems. EDIT: They haven’t reached out to me other than to reply to this post. Says a lot :|. They stop caring about you once you sign your lease.
