Port Largo Villas

We stayed a week there. The place is well kept. The pool is very nice. It's very quiet and relaxing. This site is close to grocery stores and restaurants. Fifteen minutes away from the Pennekamp state park. One and only negative... new dining room chairs, hard on the rear.

Lovely units with boat slip access in the center of Key Largo, Oceanside. Our family of 6 had plenty of space, comfy beds. I would give it a 5 star, but the bedroom furniture and carpet is a little older, and the kitchen was low on plates and dishes. The main living area was clean and updated. Otherwise, we absolutely loved it! Heather at the front desk was nice and friendly--providing fun activity suggestions, and kayak trails. She was very accommodating when I had an Amazon package delivered there. We all agreed this was one of our favorite Interval trades. We hope to return in the near future!

Amazing experience! Entering the property was smooth & quick. We appreciated the gated entrance. Our unit was spacious and clean. The newly renovated kitchen & guest bathroom was great! The sliding patio doors along the unit with a large patio was beautiful. We enjoyed the fans & fast acting a.c when needed. The pool area was quiet and lots of areas to sit.

Came down on vacation with family to Port Largo Villas. During our stay noticed a bit of imperfections. Base boards are filthy with layers of dust and grime same with doors, second bedroom had a dead bug and shells accumulated in the corner (we just got there and had not been to sandy area or beach). Upon our first night went into closet to grab an extra pillow… Pillows are cheap, flat and had one stained with blood. Closet also contained a green stain on the wall and I would not hang my clothes in the area.The curtain in the dining area was also stained with a great deal of blood. The front door blinds are broken in multiple areas and is just visually an eye sore. TV controllers with no backings, couch cushions sinking in when sat upon. Well maintained. Friendly staff. Close to stores, restaurants, etc. Many occupants have stayed at the resort for decades during the winter months so it has a community feeling. Young children may find it to be a tad boring, however, as the onsite recreational activities are limited to shuffleboard, a basketball net, and the pool. Conversely, the resort is great for those of us of advanced age. The MAJOR DRAWBACK, unfortunately, is that the units are NOT handicap accessible. There are no elevators, so walking up 2-3 flights of stairs can be problematic.
