Pondsview Apartments

Do not rent at Pondsview apartments. We are under new management and the new manager is a complete slumlord. She has only been at these apartments for a week and already increased rent 500+. She had a bad rep is Worcester Ma due to circumstances she should have prevented and made countless people HOMELESS. Homelessness is already a huge factor in our country and we need to put an end to tyrant landlords. I am baffled at the fact rent has increased so high considering the majority only has a 550 sq apartment with no amenities just a which you would call basic apartment, a bedroom or two a kitchen a living room and a bathroom. No gym no pool no courtyard no clubhouse absolutely nothing just your apartment. There are countless families here and we as a collective lived in peace and harmony wi

My wife and I lived here for a few years until the new management came in recently. The female manager was extremely rude to my wife when speaking to her. I've heard from other people she was quite rude to them as well which shows lack of empathy towards their tenants. A quick Google search of their company name shows that they have lawsuits against them for their properties collapsing on their tenants which begs the question if these people are capable of managing and being able to take care of the property. The rent increased to $2400 a month which is absurd given the size of the units are pretty small compared to most apartment complexes. I advise people to stay away from this property and any property that says Fren Management.

DO NOT RENT HERE! This place is a dump with no facilities, potholes galore, paper thin walls, etc. In addition, new management from Worcester, Fren Management, came with no warning and raised rent $500 with two weeks to sign said lease, or get out! I’m sure it will go up drastically again the following year. This billionaire family manages several properties and are known to only come around to collect checks… not to mention a roof collapsed at one of their other properties and they ended up suing the tenants because they did not remove their belongings quick enough, although the authorities told the tenants it was UNSAFE to enter! Been living here for 3 years. Dan, our original landlord was always on-site, was fair, kept up with maintenance, and always seemed readily available. From our experience, he was the ideal landlord. As of mid-February 2024 the complex was purchased by "Fren Management", who within the first month is attempting to raise everyone’s rent by $500. From what I've heard, some tenants aren’t even given a rent increase option and are instead being evicted. A quick search of “Fren Management” yields some alarming results. Most notably is a lawsuit from their property in Worcester where the building partially collapsed during construction. To further any concern, “Fren Management” was the one taking tenants to court… I would urge anyone contemplating moving into these units to conduct a quick goog

Very nice place to call home. I lived there for close to two years and I was so happy with my apartment and the landlord Dan. Dan goes out of his way to make you happy and take care of his apartments and fixes everything right away if something broke down. Be nice and take care of his apartment and he will treat you very well. Dan offers a very reasonable prices which included heat, hot water and gas. also the apartment has a spacious storage in the attic which is a plus. I moved closer to Boston to a bigger and more updated apartment but I still feel my apartment at pondsview is what is called home to me and my wife. Oh Did I forget to mention the nice walk by the lake and the trees at pondsview? Even some apartments has a lake view.
