They don't deserve this one star. Unfortunately my loan was sold to this mortgage service. I had a PMI because I didn't put 20% down. Didn't think it would be necessary as the loan was going to be paid in full within the year, after sale of other house. When I did pay it off, they withheld two PMI payments after the loan was paid in full on 12/2. They charged against my escrow on 12/5! At this point 0 balance. What the heck did they think I was going to default on?? Never again. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy.

This is an amazing company and I have no idea why people are giving it 1 star! The employees are great and I got my house quickly! The explained the process very nicely and understandable! I will definitely recommend this!

This is the worst mortgage company i have ever dealt with over the past 30 yrs as a home owner. I was recently laid off and began a forbearance plan, instead of PennyMac helping they actually increased our payments and call weekly to make threats, the calls are never documented and then im accused of going against my plan for not calling in monthly even though I speak to them often. The agents are cold and demanding , and really arent of any help just use intimidation tactics to scare home owners. We will be looking for a new mortgage company as soon as we can. Be ⚠️ warned.

Absolutely terrible. Didn't disperse my insurance and tax money correctly and have a thousand sitting they won't put toward my taxes went up $340 on my payment somehow.And you can't get a hold of someone in America. The people answering the phone are from India or somewhere and you CANNOT UNDERSTAND ANYTHING THEY ARE SAYING.

They acquired my loan from another company and have massively screwed up everything from ownership, escrow, applied payments to insurance. Customer service is terrible. Save yourself days of frustration and choose another company.
