Oak Forest Apartments

The woman that works in the office is mean and rude and doesn’t know how to do her job at all. Dana is rude and disrespectful and needs to be fired! The only reason I give it at least a 2 star is the pregnant woman in the office Kasia was a real gem to speak with and helpful! But Dana needs better training!

I live there for two years with my three little kids my apartment got shot up 4 times so I got one of my grown child to stay with me the rent complain about that then our safety then I got a job report it on time and the rent lady hit me with I own them 3500 cause it took them 6 months to do the paper work in and she came to me like I own them all this money I still don't have just crazy well I pack up and move back with my ma cause that was just crazy I hate it there they mess me all the way up frfr DONT MOVE THERE

This place is horrible and scary. They have a infestation of rats outside everywhere. The landscaping is extremely overgrown it hasn't been cut in months which makes the rats even worse. The crowds of ppl hanging outside ,trash cans always overflowing with trash , the breezeways and stairs are filthy need a serious pressure washing. Management has failed the up keep of this property.

Stay far away from this place. Aside from the terrible management and mold infested apartments, it’s unsafe. Gunfire is a regular occurrence and just this week there have been 3 separate occurrences of individuals playing with loaded guns in the parking lot and shooting them. The place is known by local police as a hot spot for trouble.

Management is horrible for keeping a single mother of 4 from living in a habitable apartment. I just saw the story on 11 Alive News where the landlord & complex refused to comment. How are repairs just beginning the 2nd week of June when she started seeking repairs & mold treatment last August? That is a horrible shame, and I hope other 1 star reviews are coming. ETA: The score dropped from 2.6 to 2.5 since my review. I am pleased.
