Liberty Military Housing - Ocotillo District

I’ve had a solid experience with Liberty Military Housing overall. The team has been professional and responsive, especially when it comes to maintenance requests. Work orders are typically handled in a timely manner, and the maintenance staff has been courteous and respectful when entering our home. The leasing office staff has also been helpful, especially Mrs. Jocelyn Fanning who’s been helping me navigate my move an accommodating any issues I have had with my housing. The homes are well-maintained for military housing, and the community areas are generally clean and family-friendly. The neighborhood events they hold are extremely fun too and helps the community, especially new move-ins like myself.

We have lived in Ocotillo Liberty Military housing for almost 3 years now and have felt so happy with this housing community. Over Halloween they had an amazing family event, “The Boo Bash”, my kids absolutely love attending all of the events that Liberty offers. They have been able to foster community building throughout my time here with all they offer. Jocelyn at the front office is a great point-of-contact if you have any questions or concerns. She always greets you with a friendly smile and actually remembers the residents. Whenever I have needed work done on my home they have completed any and all concerns going above and beyond to make sure that everything is fixed. When I first moved out here, me and my husband had issues due to weather making it on time to view our housings. I was able to call and email Jocleyn Fanning and she was quick with the response and gave me reassurance that everything will work out. She’s always been helpful with any questions and concerns that I’ve had. She has always been professional and has an amazing personality. She is really easy to get along with and I appreciate how she made being here so much easier and stress free.

James Cabaj puts on the best events here! As a resident, you are invited to housing events all throughout the year. We have made fall wreaths, gotten Bundt cakes and flowers, had neighborhood fun turkey hunts (find felt turkeys in the neighborhood and get a whole Thanksgiving meal- this us huge!), egg hunts, huge Christmas events, and many more events to name. James organizes all of these events for the residents. James always tries to talk to each resident at the events to ensure they are enjoying the event. James is also open to new ideas and just an overall wonderful person. Thank you James for your dedication to the residents of Ocotillo! You make living here a little more fun!!

We’ve been living at Liberty Housing here at Twentynine Palms since the middle of last year and it’s been great! The community is safe, clean and friendly. Jocelyn Fanning has been our main POC and she’s been fabulous! Always providing support and very responsive!
