After careful research of area builders, we chose to work with John Schedcik and his team to build our forever home. As first timers, we needed a trustworthy builder to handle such a huge investment and project. We got exactly that. John himself is a down to earth and open person. His team is solid, highly-skilled and quality. We were well-supported throughout the entire (very grueling….prepare to make a million decisions) process with open communication including a project website where pictures, important files and updates are shared. I can’t recommend John/his company enough. You can tell he wants to provide a quality home, and he delivers. We are so happy with our beautiful home.

We Love our Schedcik Home! We are very thankful that you and your family have been part of our lives the past 10 years. We truly believe the quality build of the first home in 2014 saved our lives when we took a direct hit from the 2022 EF3 tornado. The top of the house was destroyed, but the walls all stood protecting us, and John was here right away to assess the rebuild. He took the site down to the slab, which held up without a crack, and began the second home with the same floor plan. We would not recommend a complete renovation this way, lol, but if anyone were to be given our situation, we would only recommend John to get the house rebuilt! He did a great job! He works hard for you and makes his job look easy. We had a few bumps in the road during the process of building our home. Had several homes built over the years and the experience with John Schedcik Custom Homes is by far the best. The patience with me in the beginning while I designed the layout (eleven revisions) was supportive. The sub contractors used for the build all told the same story, been working with John over 15 years and he treats them with respect. I lived next door during the build in an old house and might have been pushing to get in the new house and they stepped up. On time and on budget is not something you often hear when building a custom home, they rocked it!
