Grand Oaks Apartments

Worst experience ever. Nobody ever in the office, can’t get ahold of a single person to get anything handled, maintenance is never done in a timely manner if it’s done at all. The very little maintenance they do take care of is terrible and normally needs redone. Ac in our apartment was out 2 weeks, went back out a month later with nothing done about it and wasn’t able to get ahold of anyone to tell them, left 4 voicemails over a week period with no calls back. Overall a really bad living experience with this place.

Where do I begin. I would leave a zero if I could. We spent about 3 years at this complex. Due to financial burdens we had no choice but to continue to live there. Went through 3 property managers. I have small children and took over a year to fix ac in the apartment. Was pretty much forced to provide myself with air to make it livable. Leak after leak happened and was fixed on their time. Leaks caused mold throughout the apartment and was told about the mold and nothing ever done. We had a hole under our sink with insulation pulled out from a plumber fixing a leak but the hole was never fixed. A leak in my kids bathroom caused mold in a cabinet above the toilet and the cabinet was taken out but never put one back.the rent we paid was included with a washer and dryer and we were told we co

I would not recommend anyone to live in this apartment complex. They don’t do any maintenance and if they do it takes years. It is ridiculous. They let the dumpsters overflow with trash. The grounds are not kept up. There was a shooting that took place at these apartment complexes not long ago. There is mold all in the apartment from leaks. All in all not a safe or healthy place to live. It is disgusting.

Oh my gosh where do I start. Do not live here me and my family has lived here for a year and some months, so this new year it’s July the last three months there have been THREE RATS!!! Two where enormous not rats you see on tv either and when we came back In our home there was a small mice big enough for a big hand then there was other unpleasant bugs very disgusting. If you do not believe me COME SEE IT FOR YOURSELF. The pool is GREEN LITERALLY every week or more than a week.

Seriously, good luck to anyone looking to move in here. Really sad that such a beautiful property is run in one of the most unprofessional manners I’ve seen for this area. I’ve been excitedly looking to move into this complex for a while now. Reached out multiple times unable to contact the office staff. Finally I reached the upper management in Dallas to express my dissatisfaction when I was redirected to visit the leasing office to retrieve a rental application. Upon visiting the office around mid afternoon, the door was locked and the lights were off. After a few minutes, someone walked over with an unprofessional demeanor saying “if no one’s answering by now, then she isn’t there”.
