We were interested in looking at a house in Vestal a while ago, but the agents gave us the third degree because we weren't from the local area. They wanted to know all about our financial situation before allowing us to even see their $100k fixer upper on Underwood Rd. We never got to actually see the property and instead we now own a nicer place in Otsego Co. Very unprofessional on their part, we never had problems with seeing any of the other 30+ places that we looked at in NY and PA before we saw our current house. Very interesting that they now claim it was pending, because that was not what they told us. Should have been labeled such on the listing page. Instead, they wasted our time and had a local banker call us to inquire about our private financials.
