Buying a home is probably the biggest purchase of your life, and you don’t want to deal with someone leaving you on read. Also, when I asked about refinancing at one point, he actually told me not to do it because the numbers didn’t make sense yet for my portfolio. He could’ve pushed it and made a commission, but instead he gave me honest advice. A few months later, when the timing was actually right, I refinanced and the whole process was smooth (again).
