Cortland Lake Howell

I’ve been here almost 2 weeks. The staff is extremely nice and friendly. From the leasing coordinator who handles the application process (who isn’t local) to the people who are in the office. Even maintenance, super nice. There were a few issues when we initially moved in that they rectified and are currently handling. Maintenance is VERY fast. Rent is a bit high but the area is nice and close to everything we need. Nice to be close to Orlando without actually being there every day. Another thing I love is that the gate actually works lol Broken gates are becoming the norm in apartment complexes. So far, so good! Hoping it stays that way .

Been living here for 2 years. While the location is good with a Walmart and publix right across the street, and the apartments are pretty big, I do have more negative opinions. 1. If you like sleeping in or work late nights, GOOD LUCK sleeping past 8am. I swear they have landscapers here EVERY other day for no reason. Not a fun thing to wake up to. 2. Maintenance is ok. Sometimes they get things done quick, sometimes it takes them 5 days to visit. They also just... dont know what they are doing sometimes. 3. If you work late nights, good luck finding a parking spot. There's not a lot available, so sometimes it's hard to find one. All in all, not bad. But it's also not perfect. I also just really dislike those landscapers.

I love living here. We have been here for a year no bugs, things need to be fixed they get fixed, and all my neighbors are wonderful. The apartment it is wonderful 😊 and spacious. Storage is a little lacking but you can find ways around that.

I recently moved to Orlando from Miami and into this apartment complex, and my experience has been nothing short of amazing. The staff has been incredibly welcoming, especially Rafael Hernandez and Alex, who have both gone above and beyond with every request I’ve had. Rafael is always friendly and makes a point to check in on how I’m doing whenever we cross paths. His kindness has made me feel especially at ease, even with having a large dog at home. Diesel absolutely loves him and is just as comfortable with Alex. Relocating can be stressful, but they truly made me feel like I was joining a community that cares. Huge kudos to Rafael for making this transition such a positive one.

My experience at Cortland has been amazing from the start! Ethan was my leasing agent and gave me a very thorough tour of the property and the community is like the perfect haven, especially here in Orlando where apartment communities rarely have great scenery. The community feels like a storybook with all the trees and the ponds and lake. It feels very peaceful. I appreciate that it is gated and has two pools and clean amenities like the gym. Ethan helped answer all of my questions during the tour and when I went home I was able to email with additional questions and received prompt responses. He and the rest of the office team were super helpful. Thank you for your patience and for being so friendly and welcoming! This has been my favorite of the five communities I've lived in here in Or
