Brookson Builders

We purchased a new home from Brookson Home Builders just three months ago, and we are already experiencing major issues with the AC system. The unit runs nonstop, our smart thermostat shows it operating 24/7, and our electric bills have skyrocketed. Despite multiple calls to the warranty department and even having Mr. Brookson himself come out to look at the problem, nothing has been taken seriously. It’s become clear that Brookson installs undersized AC units to cut costs, leaving homeowners to deal with the consequences. This is unacceptable for a brand-new home and extremely frustrating as a customer. The lack of real support and accountability has left us very dissatisfied, and we would strongly caution others to think twice before building with Brookson.

Brookson Builders were amazing and we love our new home. All of the employees that helped us through the process were just awesome.

I am writing this review on behalf of my son and his family, who moved into their brand-new home just three months ago. Unfortunately, their experience with Brookson Builders has been extremely disappointing. Since moving in, they have had nothing but trouble with the air conditioning system. Over the summer, they were forced to live in a house that stayed hot and humid, with indoor humidity consistently around 55–60%. Even during 100+ degree days, the AC could not keep the house comfortable. Multiple HVAC companies have inspected the unit and confirmed that it is undersized for the home. My son has provided Brookson Builders with these reports, yet the builder has failed to take responsibility or act on the warranty. We weren’t completely committed to buying a new house until we saw the Brookson Builders homes…my wife and I submitted an offer as soon as we could after walking through an open house. The homes are very high quality with a lot of attention to detail and taste. The whole team from sales all the way to the builder/owner are great people and easy to work with. I have had bad experiences with corporate home builders in the past and Brookson erased my skepticism. They are not the mass cookie-cutter builder that cuts corners on quality. We love our house and so happy we bought it! You should check them out!
