Brafferton Square Apartments

Apartment is very spacious, well maintained. Landlord is awesome very accommodating and attentive to tenants needs. Any and all issues were corrected or addressed same day or next if parts were needed. Apartments are upgraded as tenants move. Nice place to live. I never had any issues with neighbors. I lived here 8 years. Highly recommend

Spent a year living here and I'd say it is an excellent place to live. Pros: Maintenance staff are attentive to your problems and will fix problems in a timely manner. The location is great with good food options nearby as well as grocery stores. The heating is water based which is included in the rent (as of the time of this review, May 2nd 2025). This means you do not have to worry about sky rocketing electric bills in the winter for heat. The Landlord is an individual, you will know and meet him and he isn't a faceless corporation. The lease is also very simple! Off Street parking, they will also plow the lot fairly early in the morning which allows you to drive into work on time. My fiancé and I have been have been with Brafferton Square Apartments for almost 3 years! It was our first apartment that we got together . The apartments are always kept very clean and up to date! The price of the apartment is very appropriate for the size especially with heat and hot water included, which is hard to find in the local area. The community is always very nice. We have made many friends that we will remain in touch with. We have moved into our first home, but we will never forget the memories made at Brafferton Square and we are very thankful for the opportunity !

An excellent apartment complex and great place to live! I lived at Brafferton in a two bedroom for 3 years and never had any complaints about the service or the living space. The landlord is incredibly kind and very responsive. The apartments are large, updated and comfortable. The grounds are up-kept beautifully (maintenance is out there removing snow seemingly as it falls! The walkways are clear before the storm is even over!) The neighbors are very kind and quiet, with mostly young professionals and older folks as neighbors--I never had concerns about noise or loud music. And you get all of the benefits of living near East Greenbush AND Rensselaer, with only a 5 minute drive to get right into downtown Albany. Overall I loved my years living there and would recommend Brafferton to anyone

I had a great experience living at Brafferton Square and would've renewed my lease if I weren't moving out of the area. The neighborhood is very safe and quiet, with a short drive to downtown and grocery stores, shopping plazas, etc. I think the rent price was reasonable, and the few minor maintenance issues I had were addressed immediately. The landlord is often on the property, and very easy to reach any time of day. I definitely recommend these apartments!
