Bower Village

I've enjoyed my stay here at Bower Village. When i put in my request for maintenace due to a breakdown in my refrigerator, the maintenance worker was exceptionally courteous and respectful, clearly communicating his actions and even returning to secure some nails for my refrigerator. I haven't heard any complaints since being here.

I’ve been a resident here for over a year and a half now. What’s good: The maintenance team is friendly, responsive and very efficient, and the few interactions I’ve had with the leasing office staff have been great. The grounds are maintained and the landscapers are here weekly, which is nice. What could use some improvement: Communication methods regarding notice of entry can be more consistent. Sometimes it’s via an email, sometimes a note on the door. It would be best to do both in this current day and age. Earlier this week, chimney cleaning was conducted and I had to move a heavy ottoman while the gentlemen waited because I was not prepared. I was told notices were posted on doors, although I did not receive one. The other issue is the children who are disruptive and destructi

I’ve been here for almost 2 years and I’ve had no regrets. Firstly, the apartment is great. Gives a very warm, cozy feeling. Secondly, the facilities and services are of good quality and well accommodated to residents. It is also close to a lot of grocery areas and bus stops. Lastly, the fence surrounding the apartment makes the area feel safe.

WARNING: BIOHAZARD & BLACK MOLD — DO NOT RENT HERE. ​This place is dangerous. On Jan 12th, the septic system failed and flooded units in Building Q with raw sewage. Management was unreachable for hours while the bathroom filled with waste. ​Now, they are lying and claiming the unit is "ready" for move-in. It is not. ​I have video proof of BLACK MOLD rotting the bedroom walls that they failed to remediate. ​They refused to replace the bathtub that was filled with human feces. ​Half the kitchen outlets are dead due to water damage (a major fire hazard). ​They are negligent and putting tenants in an uninhabitable environment. I have the photos to prove it. Protect your family and go elsewhere.

I have lived at Bower Village for almost a year now and have had a positive experience. Maintenance is friendly and fast. Neighbors are kind and respectful in my building. No theft or anyone messing with cars, I have truly nothing negative to say other then we never received our key fob upon move in, even when asking management about it they quickly placed the blame on us. I’m pretty sure it’s new management now and they’ve been very kind otherwise! We just haven’t bothered to ask about the key fob since that interaction on the first day of move in last year.
