Berkeley Heights Apartments

When we moved in (February), the balconies were in horrible condition. The landlord promised to fix the balconies during the summer, but now summer is over and the balconies still have not been repaired. The fireplace does not work. We opened multiple maintenance tickets for the balconies and the fireplace, but nothing was done. Asked for a discount on rent since promises were not kept. No response! Very unprofessional and very disrespectful. Would not mind if I was not paying almost $3k a month. Seriously considering filing a complaint with local code enforcement.

DONT APPLY HERE!!!! They’re scammers and will take your money and never give you a refund. I applied for a unit in June of 2025 and NEVER went through with leasing from them. It took 3 months to get my refund back and that was only because I disputed the charge and NOW in October they think it’s okay to take my money again. THEY SHOULD NOT STILL HAVE ACCESS TO ANY OF MY INFORMATION. Do not lease, don’t even apply with these people they’re scammers.

We've been without a dryer for almost a month, and they haven't given us a clear answer. All they tell us is to go and use the laundry room nearby, which is unacceptable because the washer and dryer are included in the price of the apartment!

Don't apply here. At first, they ask for simple requirements, and then a few days later they ask for many more that are completely irrelevant. And on the last day of delivery, they keep asking for requirements to keep the deposit. The manager, Dorota, is a rude and malicious person.

I love the office staff here, very communicative and helpful! Thanks again to Stephanie and Jennifer! The staff members are still amazing but Danielle the property is extremely rude and doesn't like her job clearly. Parking here is a nightmare , for as much as you pay for these subpar apartments you can move anywhere else and have parking accommodations for yourself and your guests. Work orders never get done I've been waiting on things to be fixed in my apartment for almost 2 months , been waiting on window screens since I moved in. Will definitely be breaking my lease and moving elsewhere, you can be treated better for the amount of money you pay to live here.
