Negligence, disregard and incompetence. The properties managed by this company are in utter state of disrepair, and the managing staff is complacent. After countless attempts to reach out to any person responsible for anything, it feels like their phones are disconnected, they lost their email accounts, and that their maintenance funds are nonexistent. Not only that, but the people tasked with the horrible responsibility of doing their job show up without tools, and while appearing to do what I assume is something they get paid for, they break personal property in the apartment. Truly despicable and shameful.

Edit 8/19/24: Following my review, the regional manager did reach out to me. She explained some of the reasoning that has gone into their decisions and has assured me that they are working on plans to address some of the major issues. -- While it isn't the absolute worst property management company in Ann Arbor, that's hardly saying much. The executives are out of touch and don't seem to care about their residents. If you rent from them, read every letter of your lease carefully. Expect rent raises. For context, I've been living on one of their properties for three and a half years. I continue to live there. It's my only option.

Repairs are slow, my building is infested with flies which come up through the drains, and the company itself has very little interest in talking to its tenants. The few times I’ve called due to loosing the property managers phone number, they were rude. The property manager Laura shares this ideal, and uses the excuse that the company is too busy to talk to it’s tenants. After taking over my residence they added additional charges and required setting up a DTE energy account, however they didn’t notify me I had to do this and then were very condescending when I did end up setting everything up. I feel as though I am a burden instead of a resident, and because of this calling for repairs and general information about the property I’m renting has become an invitation for belittlement. I’ll

I was disappointed before I even stepped foot into their property. On 7/1/22 I scheduled an apartment showing on for 7/8/22. I requested time off work to do so. I arrived at the unit location and waited 10+ minutes before calling the office to ask what was going on. I was told "The person who was supposed to show you the apartment is out of town." Went home very angry and annoyed. Thanks for nothing.

Impossible to get in touch with them. They don't answer the office phone, and they don't respond to voicemails or emails. I even went to the office in person and no one was there. I was interested in an apartment that had seemingly been vacant for months, so I would think they would be eager to rent it out, but I guess not.
