Willow Branch Homes

I have to say compared to what I've heard about other builders Willow Branch was good to us with our new home build. A year later, I have to give a shout out to Gabriel who has been absolutely INCREDIBLE to work with for final walkthrough and warranty. He's the star of the show for sure, and the reason for the four stars I'm giving Willow Branch as a whole.

Our experience has been absolutely atrocious. Firstly, Willow Branch promised a closing date that ended up being over 1 month late. Second, when that date finally came, it was delayed futher because our kitchen island was crooked, our cabinets crooked, whole sections of wall unpainted, gashes/scuffs all over the walls, and missing water spigots (this was less than one week before closing). Thirdly, we find out that they only accomplished half these fixes when they told us they fixed them all. Fourthly, we come home after closing and the HVAC doesn't work, they never fully set the system up, ended up having 2 weeks of now A/C in the summer. Now, 2 months after living in our home, all the base boards downstair have separated from the wall. We requested that they be fixed under our warranty,

Lack of communication, don’t return phone calls. Vendor issues- disrespectful, not doing what was told. Been pulling teeth since May to get our 1 year walk through and it is the end of September. They pulled out of the neighborhood and building luxury homes and drop their other clients.

My wife and I had a great experience with Willow Branch Homes. We are both real estate agents, and know from experience that building can be very stressful. We know about the pages of punch list items that either never get done, or it takes six months to complete. Willow Branch hired a new superintendent last November named Joe Drake, who’s been nothing but fantastic. He is very experienced at quality control, holds his contractors accountable for their work and takes pride in what he does. We had a page of punch list items prior to closing, and Joe made sure that everything was taken care of before closing. Even our home inspector complimented on the quality of the build. We walked into the Willow branch office in Greystone on a very stressful day for us. We had just had a contract with another builder fall through and we needed to be out of our current home in 16 days. Melissa Verrone, the sales agent, was extremely helpful. She showed us the homes that were available for quick move in and that day we were under contract. From Melissa to our builder Josh Dickerson to the closing coordinator Cindy Hong, everyone was extremely helpful and understood our urgency without making anything feel rushed. Within 14 days of walking into the sales office we were moving into our new home, while still being able to do the usual walk throughs, inspections, appraisals, etc, Overall it was such a smooth experience and we absolutely love our home and community in Greystone!
