Westgate Arms Apartments

We ended up moving out early because we bought a home. The communication from the management team was awful. The rent got jacked up by $40 a month at lease renewal and yet there was nothing new done to the unit at all. We were under the assumption that the patio at West Gate Arms was private with how it was described, and a year an a half later into our lease, we got told to remove the things we had on it. We had a green house, some plants, my daughters play table, and 2 chairs. When I called in to the office about it, the office worker was rude and disrespectful, telling me "just read the notice. I don't know what you don't understand. Its in the notice." The notice only said "remove the personal belongings by X date." But lets not forget that when we moved from 450 Green Apt to West Gate

Yes, I am happy with my apartment The staff is helpful and courteous and I'm thankful for the outside lights around the building and parking lot, the area so far it's a safe inviroment. Also the neighbors are nice. Maintenance is pretty good with repairs. The location and the amenities is a plus for me.

I currently rent here, I will say this to start, the apartments are very nice and very spacious. I have no issues with the actual apartment because I am happy with it. My only concern is getting a hold of someone. I sent several email and made several phone calls for the past month and a half and have not heard anything back. I have yet to hear anything back.

Lived here almost for a year. Has been a good experience. Neighbors are polite and quiet. The few issues that we have had with the apartment were addressed promptly. One drawback is limited parking for a second vehicle but that was known up front. Pet friendly.

Keep on looking....Stay away. The rental office will be friendly until you sign the lease. They will "bully" you into picking up extra insurance coverage to help them defray their own costs. It's not good to have insurance for what you feel is necessary for your own means. You must carry enough to also help them should the worst occur. They will tack on fees. The assess fees in the easiest way possible. They do not enforce the "clean up after your pet rule" they allow dogs b/c then they can charge extra for rent. But they do not make sure people clean up after their dogs outside. The office does not communicate with the maintenance staff. You will have to borderline "harass" people to get stuff in your apartment that you pay rent for to get fixed. The roofs leak. The roofs hav
