Vista Oaks

I wanted to share my experiences at Vista Oaks apartments in Martinez CA The manager her name is Angela she is a very welcoming lady with me answered all my questions during the tour I took there and I have since moved in and I do love the area in my neighbors are so friendly and Angela called me a couple of days after moving in asking me if there is anything I needed or assistance with or any questions or concerns she was very pleasant conversation she was very nice although I did not need anything it was nice for her to take the time to give me a call and asked me if I needed anything I have never received such a friendly welcome as I have here

I’ve been living here for 6 months now and have had a good experience. I can tell Angela really cares about her tenants and property!

Been here 2 years. Have gone thru 3 different managers and it seems like each 1 is worse then the last. Came home after a very long day of work, just so the gate that was supposedly just fixed won't work. So now I gotta find parking somewhere up the damn street since outside parking here is very scarce. The gates been broken for over a year, since then my girl had her crocs stolen, someone broke into my car and now this. Save your money and apply else where cause management/greystar just want their money. Theres zero consideration for us tenants. Not to mention i just called the office to place a complaint. This damn lady answered the phone and hung up immediately. You guys are the worst

Future resident, scheduled a tour and received a confirmation email when booking and a day before. Showed up and no one was here. 3pm on Saturday which is within office hours but office is locked up. Tried to call the emergency maintenance line as well and only got voicemail. Would definitely not want to live in a place with such poor communication.

Management turn over is constant. Communication is sporadic, inconsistent, and a lot of promises made but never fulfilled. Pricing is absolutely absurd for the low quality fixtures, cabinetry, appliances, customer service, ect. Advertise "all new appliances" but I've lived in 2 different units and both were not new appliances. Things break constantly. The maintenance guy is super nice and helpful but that only goes so far. Rent payment process is a joke, and they love to add charges, so its a fun game to find out what your ledger looks like each month. My apartment leased for 2330, my actual ledger has never been below 2700 with additional charges, fees, ect. Can't wait to get out
