Village Realty Apartments

I had a self guided showing at one of their properties and thought it would be great to move in. I called them and immediately got hit with “you have bad connection try calling again” I thought it was weird but did so a bit later and got the same thing. I had my wife call them and the exact same thing. How in the world do they not realize it’s a problem on their end. That kind of arrogance made us want to continue our apartment search

We lived in the Shrewsbury Village Apartments for 2 years and honestly could not have been more pleased with the experience. The apartments are simple but cozy, with a beautiful large window that provides a gorgeous view of the surrounding landscape. Shrewsbury itself is the most wonderful, peaceful, stunning place that we have ever lived, and these apartments are nestled right in the heart of all of the beauty and simplicity. A short walk up the street will lead you to the most perfect view that you have ever seen, but almost anywhere you drive, walk, run, or bike outside, you will find equally beautiful places to see and explore. People should look up the tenant consumer laws. People they can not go past 3 yrs! Also they must look into the eviction, or landlord tenant complaints. A lot of tenant complaints were resolved before tenants moved out. Some landlords, will take you to court, so they get their funds. So that doesn’t make you a bad tenant. Also they are no longer permitted to be asking for 2 or 3 x the rent!! Another thing they are supposed to inform you the bank your deposits are in after a year. It’s ashamed, how these people are soaking up people’s money. Credit scores or a charge on your background doesn’t make a person not worthy of paying rent. After reading some of these reviews I figured I would chime in about Village Realty. We have been renting a townhome from them for a year and a half now. We have NEVER had a negative experience with any of their staff. Any time we have had maintenance issues, we submit it through the portal and they’re usually there the day after or next. There have been a couple of occasions where we had to be late on rent last year and they never once threatened to kick us out, they simply informed us of the late fee (which is expected when you’re late), and we happily paid it. They have always communicated to us clearly and effectively about rent increases, potential violations, late fees, sewer & trash charges, etc… I have even spoken to the owner Bridget, personally, and she is a very kind and underst

Called Villa Realty on 08/21/25 in the afternoon to request info and an application for a property. The person who answered was completely unhelpful, interrupting me constantly and seeming stressed. She acted like she was doing me a favor. Never received the email she claimed she'd send. Apparently, she also struggles understanding accents. Completely useless and rude.
