Via Ventura Apartments

I had to stop in and give my personal experience here at Via Ventura apartments. We have lived here for almost 2 years and it has been great. Very well kept community very peaceful, we have been lucky enough to have good neighbors. We have met lots of great people along that way here. The regional manager Sarra is fantastic, very caring as well as Laura the property manager and Melissa have always been great. The maintenance team is great and responds fast. I definitely would recommend living in this nice peaceful community.

I previously left the review below around two years ago and wanted to provide an update given the recent one star reviews given that my experience does not reflect what is being reported. I recognize noise level can depend on your neighbors but I have always found the complex very peaceful - as someone who went to UCSB and had to live in horribly loud apartments in Isla Vista, I recognize how incredibly peaceful this complex is in comparison. Yes, they leaf blow once a week but this is always when I am at work. Same with the trash cans. If you work from home or don't work, you should expect that you will experience some of these things. I loved living here. Yes there is issues with plumbing but I just had my handy dandy plunger. Maintenance takes care of trouble tickets fast. Move out was easy and during walk through their maintenance guy was honest about what they will charge. I received my last bill and what they said they would charge they did. The apartments are spacious. My upstairs neighbors were not loud. You can hear them walk sometimes but there isn't much you can do about that. Quiet area and close to everything. Office managers are nice. Gym is decent. It's expensive but it's also California.

I would give zero stars if I could but the appliances are new so that’s the only plus. This place initially seemed very quiet and peaceful the few times I looked around and toured the apartment early in the day time, before putting in my application. Once I got approved and moved in, I have been so disappointed and feel lied to as the management told me it was very quiet. It is not, from screaming kids/family that takes up the pool and outdoor area all day and all night. I’m not kidding, they are out screaming and yelling out there all day and into the evening, til 10pm. They are out there now screaming at the top of their lungs. These parents have no respect for their neighbors/other tenants who live here, no keeping their kids behaved and I feel like I’m living in hell at this point. It’
