Excellent service! I would recommend Ryan to anyone!!! Ryan is patient, very responsive, and was wholly committed to meeting my family's needs. As a first time homebuyer, he took time to educate me on the entire mortgage process from start to finish. He also offered a more competitive mortgage than my other top competitor. If you aren't convinced, ask for an interview -- you won't be disappointed!

Ryan was very helpful and dedicated to ensuring my refinance went smoothly, even though we ran into an issue with HUD. He kept me informed every step of the process, as well as his assistant Aylah. Neither one of them put it aside, for the 2 months it took to weave through the red tape! You would have thought it was their own refinance they were working on, to get approved. I can't say enough good things about Ryan Prestwich and his teams service. I had a very complicated loan application buying a home under construction, while separating, multiple contingencies, a challenge other mortgage companies probably would not have even taken on. Ryan was never more than a phone call away, figured out a way to work through the complexities, keeping me in the loop the whole time and made the process stress free, at least as it relates to the loan application. Veterans First overall is an easy five star, and the VB branch especially so.

I am a long time realtor (20+ years) in the Northern Virginia area, and I first met Ryan when a military buyer client found him online. I have to admit I was very skeptical of all online lenders, but Ryan proved to be very knowledgeable, extremely personable and was overall fantastic to work with. He closed on time - in fact the loan was ready earlier than expected. He won me over and has since worked for other clients of mine. Because he is so engaged with each buyer and their unique situations, he is willing to talk to the listing agents on homes that our buyers are making offers on, to give them assurance the loan will close and it will be a smooth transaction. Not sure where to start. Much of my experience with Ryan and VFM has already been stated in other comments; The ease of the process, the professionalism and experience of Ryan, the jitters of a first time buyer (at age 55). Purchasing my first home is an incredibly important milestone for me and I knew absolutely nothing about the process. Ryan earned my unwavering trust during my purchase because he helped me through every step, and when he said something would happen, it happened, when he said something wouldn't happen, it didn't.
