Mr. Kassel is professional, thorough and kind. My only mistake was not hiring him at the start of my build. It would have saved me much headache having his expertise from start to finish. He has stood by me from the time I hired him. Always available for questions or explanation. It has been a bit messy. His patience has been appreciated. I emphatically recommend his service. No one should build or buy without hiring Up Close Inspections for peace of mind.

Andy was very good at his job! .... BUT, Beware! The 4-point inspections are for Citizens Ins and may end up costing you a lot of money. I got the inspection as was required by Citizens. Andy found my plumbing was banned in 1996, and not accepted by Citizens. SO, I had to get a complete re-pipe of the whole house, and even though the water heater worked perfectly citizens said it was too old. Also had to be replaced. All work had to be completed before I could get Homeowners Ins. I jumped through all the flaming hoops of the three-ring circus. Called the Insurance Agent only to find out that I needed a re-inspection to show that the plumbing was really changed, even though a City Inspector came out to my house, Approved the job was correct. Cost me another $75. for the re-inspection. Then

Andy Kassella inspected a home for us that we were wanting to purchase. Everything he did from beginning to end was so very professionally completed. All documents were transparent and didn't include legal jargon that would have been difficult to understand for laypersons such as we are. We received a follow-up call from Andy making sure that we could and did access the inspection results and that we understood how and what he did. He also provided recommendations as to how to make any repairs of items needing them, including obtaining professionals in the field of any repairs needed. We were very happy with the thorough work Andy did to provide us with an inspection report that was easy to understand and had photos to further detail the problems found during his inspection.
