My experience so far has been amazing. I won’t lie—reading the reviews initially made me a bit nervous, but I wanted to see for myself. When I toured the community, I met with Irvin, who was very friendly and took the time to answer all of my questions. The building was clean and smelled great, which immediately made a good impression. I’m truly glad I made the decision to move here. The building is secure, and all of the staff and residents I’ve met have been friendly and helpful. I even met the security guard last night, and he was very pleasant and accommodating. I’m looking forward to continuing to enjoy my experience here at my new home, Town29.

Move elsewhere unless you're absolutely desperate I recommend in the area The Broadway Apartments and McArthur Commons. Also remember the number one rule of distaful businesses and reviews is when they love to get defensive on reviewea. Peep game. But anyway the units are nice. Gym subpar but clean and gets the job done, they have a bottled water fountain which was lovely no AC tho so spring summer workouts are almost debilitating. Property usually well maintained although some things have fallen through lately a broken fountain rain stains ect but nothinf crazy. and the office, maintenance and security ppl are friendly although there has been a lot of turnover since i moved in. Despite the air of security there have been multiple break ins and theft of property that thw unit management w

PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING!! I have never posted a review like this in my life, but I want to warn people. The people who manage this building use deceptive and misleading business practices in order to take your money. They will justify it by saying it was in the fine print. I’m not sure how many people they have done this to but I don’t want it to happen to anyone else. More details below: In order to apply for an apartment here, I was asked to put down a $60 application fee and an $800 “security deposit”. I thought this was strange, so I called their office and was told that while the application fee was nonrefundable, that the security deposit would be returned if I decided not to move forward with the place. A week passed, and I informed Town29 that I found an apartment somewhere e

The building is in good condition. The apartments are usually in great condition. It's a good value with the "concessions" when you consider how nice the apartments, building, and amenities are. We were also offered to continue almost our full concession amount into the second year. They occasionally have resident gatherings, which are nice and typically include drinks and food and are a great way to meet neighbors. The office staff are pleasant but may be a bit difficult at times. The maintenance guy is exceptionally nice. The location is great if you work at/near the hospital, but otherwise the immediate neighborhood is lacking a lot of conveniences and about a 20 min walk to BART (or a 10 min bus ride). There are a couple convenience/liquor stores nearby and it isn't too much farther fr

We lived here for two years and ended up moving because the rent kept increasing every year. They claim it’s negotiable, but it turns into a frustrating back-and-forth between the property manager and the owners. I spent nearly a month trying to negotiate, only for them to settle on a $200 rent hike. Any concessions they offer are only good for the first year—after that, they’ll try to charge you full price for an apartment that honestly isn’t worth it. Who wants to deal with that stress? Side note: Make sure you schedule a pre-inspection 2–3 weeks before you move out. And if you think you’re getting your security deposit back—don’t count on it. We left our apartment in great condition, and still didn’t get it back. They clearly use security deposits to cover turnover costs and then say t
