Decent Experience Overall, But Definitely Some Frustrations I lived in this apartment community for three years, and overall it was a good experience with a few notable drawbacks. The rent is definitely on the expensive side, but to be fair, the size of the 2 bed/2 bath unit made it feel worth it—especially the huge closet, which was one of my favorite features. Being on the third floor also meant it was usually very quiet. Most of our neighbors were older and nice although we did get one noise complaint from the only party we ever had. Giving a one because there is nothing lower. I have lived here for almost 5 years and will not be renewing. The rent goes up $100 a year as this place becomes a filthy, unkept property. The carpets in the hall have not been cleaned since I lived here and other tenants who have been here longer say never have been. Anything goes here. I have a very noisy, inconsiderate neighbor. Loud music, loud noise late into the night. If you complain, they get a letter on the door, ha ha. No progression, no consequence, just a joke. Never corrected. No pets allowed, but many dogs, and god only know how may cats and who knows what else. I would give 0 stars if I could. I rented here for 3 years and always paid my rent on time and kept my apartment clean. I was always quiet and never caused any issues. When moving out, I requested to do a walk through with someone because I had been told from numerous people that Tocco Villaggio steals security deposits. I moved out of town for school and offered several dates that I could be back in town to do a walk through. Tocco Villaggio refused any of those dates, but happily took my keys on the same date I had requested to do the walk through. They sent me a letter with items that needed to be completed prior to moving out, which I brought with me when my boyfriend and I cleaned the apartment. Before I recently moved out I did not have many complaints about Tocco Villaggio Apartments. I lived in a two bedroom, two bathroom apartment for almost five years. I was absolutely dumbfounded when I received my security deposit back after moving out and seeing all the comments. The comments made me think they went into the wrong apartment. When moving out they sent out a laundry list of things you needed to do. One thing was to use the self-cleaning option on the oven and to not use a chemical cleaner. A few days before I moved I cleaned the oven as they directed me to do so. Everyone who knows me knows I rarely cook. I barely ever used the oven but obviously had the normal “wear and tear” if that. Just finished reading a negative review,.So sorry you are so unhappy.You took so much time in complaining. you sound very unhappy. These apartments are awesome.The office staff is every bit kind, caring and professional. They listen and do the very best to resolve your complaint. Those that complain are few and far in between . All the people we have met and talked to are very happy , feel safe and enjoy living here.It is country living in a secure , new . and comfortable apartment. As far as club house, pool, nothing was on a time schedule. they been very upfront, when there is something to tell ,they will. There is a mixture of people that live here, that what makes this a great place to live .If you hear your neighbor, you have to much time ,that you focus on noises. Be positive and yo
