The Willows at Annandale Village

Beautiful apartment on the inside and outside. Its been 5 years now. Certain neighbors and management are horrible. Kids constantly littering and running around screaming. The dumpster area is constantly filthy with broken glass and garbage all over the ground. Management dosent enforce the rules. They dont care and are lazy. Inconsiderate college neighbors who play loud music and talk on patio at night when I am trying to sleep. I had to call the police to complain about the noise because management does absolutely nothing about it. Kids bikes being left out in parking lot and on the grass. And thoughtless people not picking up there dogs poop and throwing it away.

I would like to tell you about my experience of living at the Willows at Annandale in Annandale NJ. I have been a resident here for almost 5 years since its opening. I ve lived in many places but I’ve never been as happy as I am here. The property is beautiful. It used to be an old farm and the original mansion is the management office. The buildings are so nice that friends that come to visit think they’re condos that people own. They re built real well. The Willows doesn’t cut corners and there are landscapers here each week. The property is always kept clean. There is a sense of a real family community here. I know many of my neighbors and they very nice people. The Willows has a support person on staff that helps with lots of different issues and is a great source of programs

I believe I was discriminated against. When the apartments were brand new, I filled out an application. I was notified that I was next in line. I previously lived in NJ, but relocated to Ohio. I informed the office of this. I came all the way from Ohio with all of my paperwork and 2 money orders to process my application. About a week later I received a letter telling me my 2-bedroom apartment was given to someone else that needed it worse than me! Some time later, I called the rental office again and woman told me she was the new manager. I again left Ohio came to the complex with all of my paystubs, benefit letters and proof of my first application. I was told just because my name was at the top of the list did not mean I would get the apartment. So 3 times I was beat out of th

I have reached out to this place so many times inquiring about information for income limits, rental availability, tour availability, etc. Not once has anyone gotten back to me. Extremely disappointing. You can at least respond with information and let people know there is no availability if that is the case, so we're not sitting around waiting.
