The Schurmeier Lofts

We’ve been living in the Lofts for over four years. We started in a basement unit and after a couple years moved upstairs into a two story loft. The building is GORGEOUS and super conveniently located to get to Minneapolis as well as the eastern suburbs. When we first moved in the building was managed by CCI properties but a few years later transitioned to management by Level 10. While we had some issues during the transition, including some difficulties with consistent hot water, the current building manager, Amanda, has been incredible at communicating progress and the problem seems to be fixed now. She advocated for us to get a rental credit and also made herself available IN PERSON in our lobby to answer questions. We’ve had no issues with maintenance requests/fast communication. Ove

We fell in love with the aesthetic of these apartments, and despite our better judgment, and despite very negative reviews online, we decided to proceed with signing a lease on a studio. One of the main questions we had at our tour was about sound transmission. They claimed they've not had any complaints. However, we can hear neighbors in all directions quite significantly. Furthermore, there have been a plethora of issues here, including the most pressing, failure to have consistent hot water. This has been an ongoing problem for us since November (from conversation with other tenants, the water issue has been happening for YEARS with no legitimate resolution). I love living here. It's beautiful, well maintained, everything works. If something doesn't work its quickly fixed and, fixed the right way. Staff is GREAT. Shout out to Amanda, Maddie, and John. I feel very supported here. Please don't raise the rent based on my happiness.

From SoHo to where Greenwich meets downtown Saint Paul, the Schurmeier Lofts are truly one of a kind. The building has such a long-standing history, and you can feel it the moment you walk in. Each apartment is unique — no two are alike — giving every space its own sense of individuality and character. That’s one of the things I love most about living here. It’s not just another apartment building; it’s full of personality and charm that makes it stand out from anywhere else in the city.

Alec was great at helping me with moving in, and the building is very unique and well renovated and maintained. Groceries within walking distance and easy access to freeways. The high ceilings and unique brick interior make it a truly unique place.
