The Pearl at Marina Shores

I can't say enough good things about living at the Pearl. It feels like being in a luxury resort, surrounded by the nicest humans and their pups! I loved my 4th-floor corner front-side apartment - sunsets from my couch and sunrises from my balcony can't be beat. Pro tip: rent a garage so you can charge your Tesla from your private parking spot :)

The location of this complex is top notch ! Can't beat a walk down the boardwalk watching the boats come in! This year my family even got to watch the lighted boat parade without leaving home. Great proximity to area restaurants and attractions , and just a few minutes from the ocean! Not to mention, a wonderful and hard working staff! Highly recommend !

I went for a tour of the facility. This is a very nice complex and in a great location. Jade was the Leasing Agent I spoke to. She did a fantastic job with her presentation. Very knowledgable, friendly, and was willing to answer all of my questions. 5 stars to Jade and Pearl@ Marine Shores👍

I had the unfortunate experience of living at The Pearl — avoid this place like the plague. The apartments are always dark and extremely small, so it feels like you’re living in a cave or a bad hotel. The garages are a joke — so small you can barely fit a Mazda Miata. And don’t forget the people: pretentious neighbors with a weird retirement-community vibe. There’s also absolutely nothing around to do, the food options are terrible, and driving/traffic is horrendous. To top it off, I’m still waiting on my security deposit, and I moved out at the end of November 2025. For what they charge, there are much better places to live. If you have to be in Virginia Beach, you can do way better for the cost.

The Pearl has been our ultimate home away from home. Although we were only stationed here a short while through the Navy, we feel like we’ve made life long relationships with residents and staff alike. We are so grateful to have been apart of the Pearl family❤️
