The Martin at Meadowdale

I had rated it a 1 star... things seem to be changing. The new CM seems no-nonsense and actually wants the Community to run normal. Cleaning up the place and kinda getting in and re-evaluating things, it seems. I'm hopeful and positive. This community has some great folks and it is a kind of oasis between two monster apartment complexes... it will be great again, fingers crossed!

The apartment itself isn't bad. The parking situation sucks. We were lied to by the previous management company to get the apartment filled. We have had 4 or 5 managers since moving in less than a year ago and it seems there is never communication from one to the next. We are paying more than twice as much in utilities as we were told, there is a constant issue with finding parking and mngmt does nothing even though they've promised it would be taken care of, and there is only communication with my husband while I am left off of emails, and good luck ever seeing anyone who works for the manager. But living here is 10,000 times better than the last place we were at and the apartment itself is ok, but you cannot under any circumstances mount anything on the walls Or hang anything from the ce

It was meh, but I was happy to leave! This place was at the top of my affordability abmnd their ad on Craigslist stated "Cats OK". This was great as I was recently divorced and had a well behaved, box-trained cat. I should have left when I met the manager at the time (a grumpy older lady). She was actually sympathetic to my circumstances (1st time living on my own ever) and seemed nice. The apartment was perfect and quaint for 1 person. However, she had reversed course on the cat allowance, citing she'd changed her mind because my apartment had newer carpet and cabinets (not brand new, mind you,about a year prior) and they couldn't chance her ruining them. Extremely loud. Dont waste your money. Nice looking on the inside but hollow walls and increasing costs make for a bad investment. I will be leaving asap.
