The Markham

If you've found yourself looking through the reviews contemplating whether or not you should live here, I say YES, do it. My fiance and I have just moved out, however we lived here for 4 years with only positive things to say. Very private and safe. Amazing views if you can snag yourself an apartment facing the park. If you do, you will have front row views of the fireworks every year in hazelwood park from your windows or balcony like we did. We were nervous when new management came in a couple of years ago as the previous was awesome but new management is just as good if not better. They are super nice and very responsive (steph is awesome to work with). All of our maintenence requests we've ever had were handled quickly and done well. It was very quiet and peaceful living here for 2 years. A lot of people say they hated their first apartment but I personally had the best first apartment because of The Markham. I had no big issues with maintenance or management. They were all very kind and respectful. I will say that it can be very loud above you but I guess that comes with living on the first floor. The Wi-Fi is amazing here, but there are frequent outages which the apartment can’t really control. Overall though a great apartment to live in!

The Markham is a great place to live! The staff helped so much throughout the application process! special shout-out to steph and Melissa because then are two of the most nice and helpful people I’ve ever encountered. Building tenants are all super nice and great. The apartment I moved into was super nice and cleaned before I moved in! Highly recommend this place!

I completely love the Markham Apartments. It is under a complete remodel right now which could potentially be an annoyance but all of the construction workers and staff are respectful, informative, and just so nice! It looks a little rough right now (the finished apartment is gorgeous though) but I'm so excited to see the finished result. My apartment was finished well before our move in date and the staff is the best apartment staff I've ever had. There was a small plumbing leak and someone was over in 15 minutes to fix it, and every email I have sent then has been replied within a couple hours. I highly recommend this apartment building!

We’ve lived here for a year and a half and it’s been excellent. Best apartment we’ve ever lived in. Everything is clean and renovated, they have unique amenities (guest hotel room, fitness center, dog park, dog spa), and it comes with FREE fiber optic 100mbps internet. Our rent didn’t increase when we re-signed either, which was especially nice after COVID. Management and maintenance have gone above and beyond, and any minor issues are always fixed to our satisfaction. Honestly my only complaint would be that the laundry and elevators need renovation, but it’s not bothersome enough to subtract a star
