Despite multiple written complaints, clear photographic evidence, and even a formal Cease and Desist, The Management Trust has repeatedly ignored CC&R violations by a board member at my property (Seneca Gardens HOA). This board member continues to hang planters over my balcony, dropping dirt and debris on my private property — a repeated nuisance and safety hazard. I have reported some wooden structures (decorative screens for AC units) falling down for months, with no action. Edit: You just have to reach the right person. Spoke to a very understanding lady, who explained the situation. Next thing I knew, the requested repair was made. She deserves five stars.

Management trust has been a wonderful property management company for our HOA. Somebody always answers the phone when you call and their after hours assistant is very efficient. Nescel and Laura Stevens are wonderful property managers. I cannot speak highly enough of their expertise and knowledge. They have saved us thousands of dollars by getting us quality Vendors. And being proactive on taking care of maintenance on our property before it becomes a problem.

I have been a member of our HOA for 17 years and been affiliated with the Management Trust office in Ventura for at least ten of those years. I have found the ladies in the office to be hard working, extremely knowledgeable and have been able to help me correct any issue I have in a very timely manner. They have the ability to anticipate and identify problems and offer solutions quickly sometimes before we ask what needs to be done. We recently finished a re-pipe project on our 50+ year old buildings and they went above and beyond to mitigate the disruptions to our residents during the process and manage to project so that it got done quickly.

If I could give zero stars I would. We have had fire alarms going off since we moved in June 2023. Neighbors say they’ve been going off for longer. Every time you try to contact the HOA they either send you to voicemail or outsource your call. The services are terrible. They cut the grass less than once a month and the condition of the public spaces is in pretty crummy condition. I have been calling for months requesting that the issue of the fire alarms be solved. The fire alarms have continued to sound off at random intervals through the day. There has been no acknowledgment from the HOA of this issue, and technicians have not been out to correct this deficiency. The alarms severely degrade the quality of life in the neighborhood.
