I had a great experience with the Lakes of Schaumburg Apartments! Skylar was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. He was very thorough when explaining everything related to my move-in and made sure I understood each step. What stood out the most was her follow-up and communication — she stayed on top of everything and kept me informed the whole way. The move-in process felt smooth and stress-free because of her support. Highly recommend working with Skylar and the Lakes of Schaumburg team. Five stars!

Living at The Lakes of Schaumburg has been such a great experience! The updates throughout the community and the apartment homes themselves are fantastic, modern, clean, and thoughtfully done. I also really appreciate how upfront and honest all the charges are; there are no hidden surprises, which makes budgeting so much easier. The location couldn’t be better, close to everything you need while still being tucked away in a quiet, comfortable setting. Most importantly, Shiela has been absolutely amazing to work with. From start to finish, she made the entire process easy and stress-free. She’s always professional, approachable, and genuinely cares about making sure everything goes smoothly. Honestly, she’s the best associate I’ve ever worked with in an apartment community! Highly recomm

Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this place; we deeply regret ever moving here. It felt like we were trapped in an overpriced community where the living conditions didn’t match the cost. Our time here was filled with constant stress and frustration. The buildings might look appealing from the outside, but the reality was quite disappointing. On top of that, the management was unresponsive and unhelpful, adding to our overall dissatisfaction. We strongly advise anyone considering this place to look elsewhere or you'll regret it. Trust us, there are much better options available! To the leasing office: Please don't bother sending us a reply.

This is strictly to warn residents my husband and I used to live here few years ago.. and unfortunately a nicor employee tried to break into our apartment in the middle of the night ! Police were called and reported to their company but nothing was done ! There was no emergency situation that lead for them to come in the middle of the night . There is some type of operation that they have working for them so please don’t trust them. Also they would send out emails about peoples car converters being stolen so please be careful and put cameras ! Don’t trust these workers and office was very unhelpful. Please read all the reviews they are true.

I never had any issues with the office staff; they were always polite and professional, and I am very grateful for them and for their help when I needed. However, there were countless problems with the unit where I lived around a year: 1. Problems with missed packages; we found packages months after the delivery. 2. The apartments themselves are quite dated. The kitchen cabinets are in poor condition. 3. I lost multiple loaves of bread to pests or mold within my first week. 4. The apartment is dark between kitchen and living room. 5. Maintenance is unreliable and often shows up on their own schedule, which can be very disruptive if you work from home. 6. After the vent in my unit was replaced, it ended up wired to the same switch as the light, so now I couldn’t turn on the light without al
