The Harper

Family of four sick for months now and our cat just died because they refuse to come fix the mold in our bathroom. We have to go in for blood test this week just to see how much mold is in our system. Per my last review some random lady claimed the apartment has been inspected and there is no mold. Nobody has been here and im not sure what you would call this black stuff growing out of my walls because of a leak they refused to fix... Absolutely pathetic.

Extremely predatory. Read the lease. Multi-thousand dollar buyout if you need to leave early. I think it was $2500 or so while we were there. If you miss giving your two-month notice by a single day, they will automatically resign you to a lease, and if you try to give notice they will charge. It's financially risky to live here.

The photos of this place look nice but it is a lie. Looking closer the apartments are trashy and old with a few fancy bits to make it look better. Overall the number of issues I have had make it one of the worst apartment experiences I have ever had. Had a 1st floor apartment Some of the major issues: -> Apartment leaked every time it rained and I ended up with an inch of water on the floor. - 6 months and it still hasn't been fixed -> Had a termite infestation -> Walls have cracks in them due to the building shifting -> Drain started backing up

I wouldn't recommend ANYONE to move in The Harper Apartments. They are roach infested fruit flies infested throughout the entire apartment complex. I didn't live there a whole week and I moved out. I've never had a bug problem NEVER in my previous apartment. They move people in these bug infested apartments knowing the are infested with roaches and fruit flies. The buildings are old they were built in the 1960's they have been renovated but they are not worth $1279 the hallways are dirty the hallways stink it's always dogs barking all through the night. It's a waste of money and a waste of time I wouldn't recommend The Harper to anyone. I called yesterday and talked a really nice lady about moving in. She was helpful. Today I called in and both Carmen and Ashley were not helpful. Ashley was rude and both were impatient. I will not be moving here because the before I even move the experience has been unprofessional and rude. Too bad cause I was a serious renter. But I will not live in a place ran but disrespectful rude people.
