The Flats at West Broad Village

If you’re looking for a place that finds new ways every month to charge you more WITHOUT upgrading any amenities or safety this is the place for you! The key fob reader (to get into the building) will go out often. So will the elevator (don’t recommend a high level apartment). And don’t be surprised if the gate is broken every other week. Our cars were broken into 3 times and our spare car spare key stolen costing us $900 to change the locks. On top of all that the sliding doors in the apartment were installed improperly (even though you will be gaslit that they weren’t) and they will flood during rain, amplify noise, and let bugs in. We unfortunately (regardless of our best efforts at cleanliness and fumigating) dealt with HUGE cockroaches. It was so difficult and was our breaking point o

I have lived here since 2016 and recently transferred units for personal reasons. Alex & Katya were fantastic throughout the whole process and made it easy with no questions asked. The entire Flats staff from maintenance to the guys in the front office Cole/AJ just everyone has been super helpful throughout the whole process. Best maintenance team ever and I’m beyond happy with my new home. Thank you all for your help through the process.

Katina is a do all for the flats she is wonderful love my apartment plenty of room . Maintenance staff is great . All the staff is kind and helpful I do wish the golf and dart room was available in the evenings i never get a chance to enjoy that room . Everything else is great.

The Flats at West Broad Village is a fantastic place to live and hang out in the Richmond area. The units in the complex are spacious and very well maintained with state of the art appliances and large closet spaces. The complex is very dog friendly and has a lot of green spaces around for taking walks and getting dogs outside. The area consists of businesses on ground level floors and residential living spaces on 2nd, 3rd, 4rth and 5th floor spaces making it very convenient for doing things close to home. There are many places in West Broad Village for dining out including Park Lane Tavern, Mona's Lounge, Bartizan, Thai by the Sea, Burger Bach, Bone Fish, Chuey's, Dave and Busters, Juice Bar and Carraba's,. I can echo what many of the reviews here are stating. At first look, these apartments look great, but BEWARE. Location is really the only good thing about the Flats. Everything else is one star. 1. If you want to smell weed, this is the place for you. It's being smoked in the parking decks every day, but that's not my main issue. Someone on the 4th floor in building 2250 was obviously growing it. The smell was overwhelming. It was reported several times, but nothing was ever done. The only response I ever received was "We're aware". 2. The noise is really bad about four nights a week. I expected some street noise, but not like an engine shop doing testing. People on the streets are pretty loud too, but I guess that depends on where your apartment is. 3. The package room is a disaster most
