I usually don’t leave reviews but I had to highlight how incredible Terri was! I have toured plenty of properties in the past few months due to me transitioning back to California and I must say she made my experience so memorable. She was extremely knowledgeable, kind, professional, and sincere. She answered all of my questions and was so patient with me. I was so apprehensive about moving back to California after being gone for so long, but this beautiful experience with her has solidified my transition back home. Thank you so much Terri!!

I’m writing this review because, despite living here and not wanting to reveal my real name due to fear of retaliation, Miss Terry Newton continues to harass residents and their visitors. This situation has become unbearable. A couple of days ago, she informed my visitor to leave the property simply because he lacked a parking sticker. He was a visitor, visiting. Moreover, she is failing in her responsibilities as the leasing manager by not managing and resolving the issue of our Cox Internet account being delinquent. She’s too busy working with tow companies to bring in money for the apartment complex by picking up our cars. Rent is already extremely expensive, and having to worry about this additional issue is unbearable.

I moved out 4 months ago and still haven’t received my refund! I’ve reached out multiple times, and Morgan, the regional manager, completely stopped responding and hasn’t helped me resolve anything. Michele is the only one who has consistently helped with the process. The lack of communication and accountability is unbelievable. If you want to wait months for your own money and deal with management that ignores you, then move here. Otherwise, save yourself the headache and stay far away from The Commodore Apartments.

I will only be giving 1 stars and that is for Michele only. She was the nicest leasing manger who was always very helpful. I do want to give 0 star but won’t on her behalf because there was always something wrong with our apartment that “no one lived in” but actually did. Our AC was the main problem. Our rent kept going up month by month. When we got the solar panels that was a bigger problem with over charging. As well the SDGE we were overcharged for 4 months. It was honestly so stressful living here. The only helpful person was Michele she always stayed on top of every complaint we had. She was very sweet, welcoming, and always went out her way to help tenants. She is the saving grace. California Civil Code §1950.5. Please avoid moving into this apartment complex. The new leasing manager, Terry Newton, has a history of harassing tenants and towing their cars for minor infractions.
