The Colony Apartments

My time at the Colony apartments is one of the best I have ever had, I feel like I am home, not just renting a place, while someday I hope to buy a house of my own, the colony apartments are a wonderful place to live. It's peaceful, the breeze where I am at is perfect. And of course we can't forget the staff. They have been very kind, understanding, and very helpful. Absolutely 10/10 staff, I would absolutely recommend people come to live here.

My family and I are from Illinois, and we’ve been living at The Colony Apartments since April. I truly have nothing but good things to say. I absolutely love my apartment, and the office staff is warm, friendly, and welcoming. The maintenance team is also amazing! Every time I put in a request, they come the same day. And if they’re unable to complete the job right away, they always come back the next day without fail. Thank you, The Colony, for making my first apartment experience in Waco such a Blessing.

Terrible, heed the warning! If you have animals you will have to pay a hefty animal fee but your animal is not welcomed there with no proof they will give you lease violation for someone else not following pet policy’s you can only pay Check or money order if you work long days will be hard to get a money order and no one has checks any more. Three bedroom apartment expensive not worth it. Floors have gaps under the carpet you can feel it when walking on the floor. A/C sucked never could get it cold in certain parts of the house. Maintenance didn’t care. I would put in requests to fix things and would wait days to call them and they tell me oh it looks like it’s been completed, no it hasn’t or I would not be calling you. Also mold in the storage unit outside reported that and nothing live

It was not a very sufficient property. And small. The dining room is impractical with carpet 🙄

I’ve only lived here for less than a month now, but I’ve had friends live here in the past. The day I turned in my inspection list I also gave a list of 911’s that needed to be done. The next day all of the problems were fixed indoors. The next week, they put in a new door which was painted and completed in two days. I am so used to dealing with receiving no maintenance or waiting a lifetime for minimal fixing of the problem, but I am VERY impressed with how fast the maintenance is here. And how they actually take the time to repair all that is needed! It is also so quiet at night! I wake up at 4:30am for work so am in bed rather early. I haven’t had a single problem because it is quiet as can be. The visitor parking may be limited and a couple of my guests have mentioned the inconvenience
