The Citizen Birmingham

I moved into the Citizen a couple of months ago and it has been an excellent experience! Shelby, the manager, has been very helpful and responsive. Building issues are addressed promptly and the location is exactly what I was looking for in terms of proximity to UAB. The building is very nice and the apartments are well designed given the space. There is street noise as one would expect for living in a city, but it usually quiets down in the early evening. It has been a very positive experience!

I’ve been in this place for 14months. It was great living there. Apartment and units are so clean and modern. Manager is one if the best. To tell the truth, I’ve never had any problem in this apartment. Everything was good. If you are looking for a clean and cozy place to live and be close to UAB, don’t hesitate about this place☺️☺️☺️

Great environment ! Everyone has been very helpful !! It is well organised, and all the process is simple and easy. The apartment is very comfortable and the view is great! I enjoy the coffee in M floor, the social spaces, and all the digital gadgets ! Additionally, the works of art and the wonderful interior design add up to the great experience of living in the citizen!

One of the least responsive property managers I’ve bore witness to. Moved my girlfriend in Friday, and have repeatedly tried to get in contact with the property manager for the WiFi password (given on move in day in every other apartment I’m aware of). No calls were returned (mine or my girlfriend’s). Other than that, pretty nice apartment.

I absolutely loved my experience at The Citizen Birmingham! Shelby, the manager, was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. The location is unbeatable—just steps from UAB, Railroad Park, the market, and lots of great restaurants. The apartments come fully furnished with all the essentials, and the décor throughout the building and the units is simply stunning. The leasing process was fast and easy, even for a short-term lease of 3 months. Highly recommend!
