The Choices at Holland Windsor Apartments

I’ve spent another year living at The Choices and recently renewed for one more—mainly because the timing wasn’t right to move just yet. But to be clear, this will be my last lease here. Once it’s up, I’m moving on—likely to private housing where the basics of property management and livability are taken more seriously. To start with what’s worked: the maintenance team is excellent. Cecil and Joe deserve specific recognition—they’re reliable, kind, and professional. Any time I’ve submitted a request, they’ve been quick to respond and good at communicating. No complaints there. Susan Donnelly, the Property Manager, also carries herself with professionalism and experience. She’s been with the community for a while and it shows. This place is great. The people in the office and maintenance always communicate really well. Maintenance is usually done same day or within a few days now that they are short a guy. I love the food trucks they have come out. There is plenty of parking. Over the holidays the trash did pile up by the compactor but they got the compactor fixed and everything cleaned up pretty quickly. I appreciate the whole team!

When I toured The Choices I was sure that if I made this community my home I would fall in love with it. Not to my surprise, I have lived at The Choices for over a year now and my experience has been phenomenal. The property is clean and well taken care of, and can expect fun resident events. I enjoy utilizing the top of the line gym, or stopping by the office to chat with the kind and knowledgeable office staff. If I could give this property infinite stars I would. If you are looking for a place to feel safe and in an ideal location, this is the place for you.

I lived here once in 2022 & it was really nice, never had a single problem. I recently moved back and it’s been back to back problems. Most things with apartment living i can move past, But For MONTHS I have been pulling out blunts from my child’s toys on the patio, i have provided so much proof, ( the photos attached & ive put them in ziplocks and dropped them at the office. i called the office every single time and it’s been completely disregarded in my opoinon. I asked for a call back from the property manager to discuss to ongoing issue and was told “ no, that’s not how it works. if she decides she wants to take action she will send out a letter, she won’t call you back “ A letter was sent out months ago and was obviously ignored by whoever is smoking and dropping them down. After living here for 3 years, I can honestly say this place is not worth it. Parking is a disaster. Visitors take up spaces daily, leaving actual residents with nowhere to park. This has been reported to the leasing office multiple times they’ve done nothing. These are not “luxury” apartments. You can hear everything: music, footsteps, kids running, stomping, and jumping on furniture day and night. I brought it up to the neighbors and the office. Not only was nothing done, but the noise actually got worse. The leasing office is useless. The staff never know what’s going on. Every time I call, they have to ask the property manager. What’s the point of having them if they can’t answer basic questions? Rules mean nothing here. The smell of weed is constant throughout the complex. I can’t eve
